• Witch Hazel is slightly astringent which makes it a great skin clarifying agent. It's also excellent for humid conditions which can contribute to congested, blemished skin. Witch hazel is great for minimizing pores and reducing inflammation. 
• Tea Tree can be a powerful skin weapon as it is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory when used topically. Several studies have shown that it helps reduce the overall severity of acne. Tea tree oil may help increase white blood cell activity to promote the healing of the skin. 
• Desert Derived Extracts - We have selected a blend of Dune Primrose, Sand Verbena, Agave, Joshua Tree, Cholla Cactus, Ocotillo, and Creosote Bush, with which many of these plants have adapted means of protection from UV radiation. Not only do these plants have a host of powerful properties and antioxidants that act to combat sun damage, but they are also packed with anti-bacterial agents (ideal for acne-prone skin) and anti-pollutive agents  to help protect the outer barrier of the skin.
